How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.
I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

Lookout, The (2007)

Plot: An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. The former athlete is left with a brain injury that prevents him from remembering many things for extended periods of time. To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash.

We had to describe something, I chose a garden. To get the higher marks we needed to change the mood at some point. My grade stays the same with this piece, could someone, preferably someone who has taught GCSE English, give me a grade and their opinions. This is now my sixth draft and I have put so many hours in and can’t improve.
In the midst of a beryl landscape, surrounded by rolling hills, lies a cherished paradise. Ostracized from the hub of day to day life, this sanctuary is thriving in isolation. From all corners, sounds radiate like ripples on a pond: twittering robins, rustling leaves, the whistling of wind. Altogether they flood the garden with sweet, mellifluous music. Listening to the melodies are the gargantuan trees, adorned with a dappled amber glow; branches entwine like D.N.A strands to form a sturdy ledge for creatures in need of a rest; complementing their stay are ripe fruits which are there to take as one desires. To attract the wildlife, an extravagant coat of emerald greenery adorns by the mighty protectors.
Positioned on the borders, an array of cerulean, cerise and crimson shades thrive, resembling a stain glass window. Cascading along the perimeter, grand roses stand proud: guards to their territory. Behind the roses, the centre of this arrangement is enriched with vibrant pansies; these privates, although bottom of the hierarchy, are ready to assist the roses in fending off all threats to the harmony of the flowerbed. On the outskirts, daisies are on a constant lookout for danger, ready to alert their companions. Other vegetation congregates so close together that a canopy is formed; insects soon take advantage of this and change the area to their liking by constructing homes and harvesting the available supplies.

Plot: EPA agent Jack Taggart is Stunned to hear from his boss Phil Pratt that his best friend and fellow agent Frank Elkins has been found dead in Kentucky after Frank’s truck plunged into a river. The Kentucky State Police believes that it was an accident, but the EPA believes it was no accident. It all began with an anonymous letter from the small town of Jackson, Kentucky. Frank was sent to Jackson to investigate what the letter described as some kind of pollution that is causing fish to die and causing people to get sick enough to die. Frank sent back water and soil samples that all tested off the charts for toxic substances. After Frank discovered that the Hanner Coal Company, owned by Orin Hanner Sr., is being paid to dump toxic waste into an abandoned coal mine shaft, Frank ended up dead. Jack is assigned to go to Jackson, where his contact will be Reverend Bob Goodall, who runs a church in Jackson. After arriving in Jackson, Jack finds out that he’ll be staying in a room in the church’s basement, and as Jack’s contact, of course Bob knows that Jack will be going undercover as a carpenter. What the hell is this, an STI? I've never had sex….?
Is it possible to have an STI like chlamydia from birth and suddenly develop the symptoms? I’m a male, nearly 17,
I’ve never had actual sex with anybody, yet about 6 months ago I had a seriously painful problem when having a piss, it would burn like crazy, like I was on fire down below. I did nothing about it, after a few days it went by itself, but was actual agony!
It’s come back exactly the same, could this be an STI? :S

Sounds to me like you have a UTI. Urinary Tract Infection. They can flare up out of the blue. You can go to the doctors and they will get you to pee in a cup. Then they analyse it, and if it comes back that you have elevated levels of Ecoli then that’s usually indicative of a UTI. If you take ‘Inner Health Plus’ tablets, they can help. They are tablets containing loads of ‘good’ bacteria. An alternative to that is you can eat ‘natural’ (pot set) yoghurt. Full of the same bacteria, but less concentrated.

While certain STDs such as syphilis can be congenital, it rather sounds like you have a genital infection unrelated to an std. Speak to your doc about this problem and keep good hygiene habits.

A question about marijuana?
Okay, I have a question about a high that I experienced over Winter Break. First off, I am not a lightweight, so don’t just say that was it. My friend comes over to my house and he brings weed, he packs a bowl and we start to smoke it, we were chatting away because I hadn’t seen him in like 6 months, because I moved. He said that the weed he got was really expensive "good stuff." But I didn’t really pay any attention, I was just excited to see him. Well, all of a sudden, after smoking only like 1 and a half bowls the high hit me like a brick. I tried to text my friend and my phone was like… in a different plane of existence. Like my hand and my arm and my eyes were all separate and I couldn’t get them to all get together so that I could type the text. Then I stood up and I could like feel everything more… I had kandy bracelets all up one of my arms and I was very aware of how each bead felt against me. Then all of a sudden I started pacing in circles really fast and talking extremely fast, but I didn’t notice, my friend pointed out that I should sit down, then I realized that I was pacing and I started running around in circles and yelling. I was yelling at him, and I kept asking if I was dead or passed out. I was really worried that I had died and that everything was a dream. I kept telling him to call 911 if I passed out, then he made us go back inside (we had been on the balcony) and we sat down on the couch but I still kept getting up and running around. I was running so fast and talking so fast, my heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest. Then, things started to get really weird, I had absolutely no notion of time and I kept asking him how long its been, and sometimes he would reply back "2 mins" and other times it was like "45 mins" Well anyways, everything was moving and twisting more than ever, so I sat down and I kept screaming at my friend that I was "in another land" and I remember that I was like… in Rome and I was in a ring with gladiators and everyone was watching me and I was running around and I was afraid that the lions were going to come get me. Then, all of a sudden, there were cats and they kept like getting in my face and I was scared and wanted them to leave. Then I was in this land where spiders were butterflies and there were dandelions floating around me… it was creepy yet serene. During a time when I felt a tad more grounded to the point where I could think about reality, I got up and got paper and started drawing to try to take my mind off of the… high I guess. I mostly drew just what I saw in the "lands" then I started freaking out again and I was running around and my friend told me to eat bread to take the thc out of my bloodstream so I did and it didn’t help. Then he got bored because apparently he had been watching me for… I don’t even know how long, and he forced me to leave the house with him, even though I didn’t feel…sane enough to. Well, we started walking to his friend’s house and as we walked and I got more fresh air, I started to feel better… then we eventually got to his friend’s house and we got in his friend’s car, and we went to Berkeley to some telegraph street or something and I was starting to come down, and I could like distinguish reality from fantasy now. But it was so weird. My question is, why did my body react that way? Because it was like a serious body high and head high. Was the weed laced? (I know that’s a dumb question.) And if you guys are wondering why nothing happened to my friend, well, I smoked a lot more than him, and he is 6′4", 280 lbs, and I am 4′11", 110lbs. And I have been like permanently scarred from that experience, and now I can’t look at reality the same, and I feel like reality is a lie, and I keep getting freaked out about the experience at random times…

I don’t know exactly how long the "trip" lasted because I was with my weed smoking friends, and we kind of just go from place to place smoking more weed. I am guessing that it lasted maybe… 3 hours? I don’t know for sure though…
I don’t know if I was imagining stuff or hallucinating… I felt really lost. I couldn’t concentrate on anything, my thoughts kept jumping. I couldn’t tell if things were real or not.
And I don’t know what I smoked. I asked my friend and he was really high and didn’t remember what it was called, so we asked his friend, and his friend didn’t remember the name, but knew that what we had was crazy stuff because he had bought it before from the same person.

Just remember that everything you were imagining was because of the weed you were smoking.
People usually loose track of time when they smoke too much weed. They also feel cold, jittery, shaky and generally freak out. Some think that they should drink milk, others drink water to stop the high. I think you should embrace it and realize it’ll pass in about an hour. Not a big deal.
You shouldn’t freak out anymore – just don’t smoke any more weed. You’re just not a weed type of guy – not a big deal.
How long did this whole "trip" last ? Was it an hour or was it 5-6 hours ?
Ask your friends what you smoked. Ask them if it was weed. If so, you should be fine. Just don;t think about it anymore.
Wake up early tomorrow morning, eat a nice breakfast and start off your fresh new day in Cali.

People like you, are the ones who give THEM the fuel they need to keep it illegal. If it wasn’t for lightweights and their idiotic experiences, nobody would be out there saying all these things like "marijuana should be illegal because people spaz out on it and hallucinate", "marijuana should be illegal because its often laced". Both of which are not true. You give marijuana a bad name.
People who have experiences like these should just keep it to themselves and stop making the rest of us look bad.
Just assume you had a panic attack due to anxiety triggered by a very potent strain of marijuana you couldn’t handle and move on, stop trying to give marijuana a bad name. Don’t touch it anymore, it’s not for you.

Any idea what you smoked was called??? Certain marijuana kush strains have 30%+ thc, first time I smoked og kush I was straight fucked. Time was going by sooooo slowly. Then I tried to relax by smoking a cigarette and I passed out. Btw I blazed an entire eigth(3.5grams).

He explains that he is on assignment from National Geographic magazine to photograph the bridges of Madison County. She agrees to show him to the bridges and thus begins the bittersweet and all-too-brief romance of her life. Through the pain of separation from her secret love and the stark isolation she feels as the details of her life consume her, she writes down the story of this four-day love affair in a 3-volume diary. The diary is found by her children among her possessions and alongside Robert Kincaid’s possessions after Francesca is dead. The message they take from the diaries is one of hope that they will do what is necessary to find happiness in their lives — whatever is necessary. After learning that Robert Kincaid’s cremated remains were scattered off Rosamunde Bridge and that their mother requested a similar disposition for her own ashes, the children must decide whether to honor their mother’s final wishes or bury her alongside their father as the family had planned. Adapted from the novel by Robert Waller, this is the story of love that happens just once in a lifetime — if you’re lucky.
